French Pigeons and the Grande Arche

Hopefully this picture gives a better idea of how HUGE this arch is. A lot of people like to eat lunch on the stairs here, as proven by the large amounts of pigeons that always seem to show up wherever people are eating lunch. French pigeons are a lot more than just dirty germ-filled disease wagons, they are also very smart, and each model is equipped with invisible force fields. That's right, pigeons will just walk around, their heads bobbin' about, while people, cars, dogs, other pigeons approach. As the would-be attacker nears, the pigeon does absolutely nothing. It isn't until the assaulter gets to a distance of one one hundredth of a millimeter that the pigeon actually defends itself by flying the absolute minimum distance away to avoid being squashed. It was especially fun to follow them up the stairs here since it only requires one wing flap to get to the next stair. Given the previous description, it looks just like I was kicking the pigeon up the stairs. If only I could. Anyhow, here's the Grande Arche. Those cloud looking covers there are designed to look like cloud looking covers, and all those metal poles coming up are the elevator shafts. What's 110 meters, probably about 75 yards, so three quarters of a football field high. That's big.
