Last stop...Green River

There are a few St. Patrick's Day pictures sitting in my hard drive whining for their big chance on the blog. How could I say no? Sara and I have decided that the best thing about Milwaukee is Chicago. Zoe has spent the majority of her toddler months bull-legged because of the many hours she's spent riding on my shoulders. Look how pretty the sky was that day! The spire just to the right of the Zoe's head is the Wrigley Building, the first skyscraper in the city built North of the river. This photo also shows how tall the Trump building actually is.

I just think my little wife is super pretty in this picture. The reason she's clutching for dear life to that street barricade is that it's the only thing that's keeping her from falling over the bridge to her green watery death. The city of Chicago figured the best way to control the high volume of foot traffic going over the bridge was by way of using metal fences and terrified horses to divide people from cars. Urban recreation is much more fun when survival is questionable.

Dude, how do I get canoe access to the St. Patrick's Day festivities?
