Here's a bit of a photo that I snapped from out the window of a room just outside of the Grand Gallery and down the hall a bit. Anyone who thinks that the pyramid is ugly next to the old buildings is totally wrong, its parfait. Check out the mini-Arc de Triumph in the background. I really liked The Louvre; a lot of people complain that it costs nearly ten dollqrs to get in, but it is most certainly worth every Euro. All those works of art (there are 65,300) of them are so much better in real life. I found myself wishing I knew more about the artists and the time periods they lived in, but in the end, it pays just to look and turn off your brain.
